Refilling toner and ink cartridges is one of the easiest ways to lower the running cost of a printer โ€“ provided the cartridge is in good condition and the job is done with quality materials.

Signs your cartridge needs a refill

  • Prints look faded or have light streaks.
  • The printer shows a low toner or low ink warning.
  • Text is patchy even after shaking the cartridge.

When refilling works best

  • The cartridge body, drum and rollers are not damaged.
  • Your volume of printing is regular, so cartridges are used up often.
  • The refill is done by a technician who cleans and tests the cartridge.

When to replace instead

  • The drum is scratched or worn, causing black lines or spots.
  • The cartridge leaks or the chip no longer works.
  • Print quality does not recover after a refill.

Tip

Keep a spare cartridge so your printer is never idle while one is being refilled. Our team can refill your cartridges, supply new ones, and check the printer itself if quality problems continue.
